Zabkhring is a musical instrument consists of two pieces of long wood. In both the pieces a hole is kept to hold the instrument for striking against each other and the attached bell metal discs or plates produce a clinking sound when clapped together. This is especially played during the Bardwisikhwla dance in which the dancer plays the instrument with the right hand and holds the chadar in the left hand. In most of the folk dance forms and religious prayers, this musical instrument is played.
