The District Museum, Kokrajhar is rich with the ethnographic objects of Boro, Garo, Rabha and Santhals. In collection of those objects we always should remember the name of Sri Mohini Mohan Brahma, a respected resident of Kokrajhar town who was very interested and put his all effort to make the treasure of Kokrajhar Museum. Now many of the collections are transferred to the Assam State Museum for Preservation. When we talk about the objects displayed in District Museum, Kokrajhar, we can never forget the name of Arun Ch. Bargayary and Sri Sibananda Sarma whose effort and initiative are the physical outcome of the District Museum, Kokrajhar. Now the Museum is rich with more than 200 (Two hundred) objects of diverse categories.
