Dokhona is a traditional dress of the Bodo women. It is a one-piece garment that is wrapped around a body in a unique style and has generous look of two-piece wear. A Dokhona covers the whole body from chest to the legs by wrapping over the waist one round at a time. Different kinds of Agor (design) and colors are used for weaving Dokhona. The base colour of the garment is yellow and it has vertical stripes in red, green and white. The stripes are further decorated with symmetrical patterns.
