Bati is a round container used for serving or consuming liquid or semi-liquid food. This is a bowl of small size without a lid and the spherical bottom has seamless curve. These serve both the household and ritualistic purpose like offering to deities and Kherai dance of Doudini (deodhani). These are often used for drinking tea or rice beer or serving liquid food in Assam.
