This is a manuscript written on the bark of the Sanchi tree. Sanchipat was the writing material used in the past in Assam. The manuscript is second chapter of Gita, a Hindu scripture which is part of the epic Mahabharata. The script is in Assamese and the language is Sanskrit. There are 40 sheets/pages in total, collected from Bhagabati Satra, Mangaldoi of Darang district in Assam.
