It is a medium size short-necked globular vessel. The rim is slightly carved to outer lip. It has a good number of perforations at the base. This vessel is especially used for preparing the distilled rice beer, the fermented alcoholic beverage. There are three vessels used to make distilled rice beer and this vessel is kept in the middle part from which one spout or pipe is connected to another container in which distilled rice beer is stored.
