A plough, drawn by oxen and buffalo, is used for tillage which softens the soil for paddy cultivation. It is made of wood basically from saal tree. Different parts of the nangal are a ploughshare, a body, a handle and a beam. The share is made of iron bar and fixed with the body. It is to turn the soil before sowing seed or planting.
